Hi Raphael,

I think it's up to the firmware how certain POI types are rendered at a given zoom level.
So, maybe you just have to use the same type as the default style?

Hi Ticker,

I'm not sure if I can attach images here, so I could show you this evening what I'm talking about.
I don't understand so far why it works for some POIs already like hotels and peaks but shops and restaurants still don't show the name in the map directly.

But I will try your hint later.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but the variable mkgmap:label:1 put
the label information into the map. This can be set directly and the
name command also sets it

The default style has, in the <finalize> section of
points/lines/polygons, the command:

name=* {name '${name}'}
