Please note that installing a certain java does not necessarily mean it's
"the" java that is started when you run java. You should check with
update-alternatives which java and javac is started.

Removing all java stuff that is not Sun java will probably help a lot with
compiling mkgmap. (Others could work, but I'm not sure which ones :)
