[mkgmap-dev] Is it possible with --add-poi-to-lines option and style rules to create pois only for ways with a min/max/equal length?

No the intention would be:
Every 100m you will get a node with the tags of the route and a
mkgmap:route2poi=minor. Every 1000m you will get a node with
mkgmap:route2poi=medium and every 10000m the tag would be
mkgmap:route2poi=major.

Typical Garmin software shows all POI, if you click next to them. I
don't think that shifting is a good solution, because the distance
depends on zoom level and on the number of routes. This could also
lead to an infinity loop.
