[mkgmap-dev] args input-file path issue

From Gerd Petermann gpetermann_muenchen at hotmail.com on Sat Feb 3 08:26:34 GMT 2018

Hi Nick,

I understand that this doesn't work:
input-file:F:\mp5\backup\FEB120~1\405269~2.PBF

The program checks if the extension is ".pbf", and this test is case sensitive.
Not sure if this shoud be changed.

Please double check:
I can reproduce that it also doesn't work with the name in quotes, but I see no problems with the
name without quotes.

Gerd

Betreff: [mkgmap-dev] args input-file path issue

Hi Gerd

Have come across this problem with input-file path names when creating and
args file:

It seems to be due to the spaces in feb 1 2018

The following creates errors:

input-file:F:\mp5\backup\feb 1 2018\args\40526979.osm.pbf

This doesn't work either (using quotes)
input-file:"F:\mp5\backup\feb 1 2018\args\40526979.osm.pbf"

nor (using shortpaths for the whole filename)

input-file:F:\mp5\backup\FEB120~1\405269~2.PBF

This does works:

input-file:F:\mp5\backup\FEB120~1\40526979.osm.pbf

Nick
