Hi Stephen,

okay, I can reproduce the error now. Please note that run.bat produces this warning:
Warning: repeated paramter overwrites previous value: --max-nodes=90000

Not sure why the script contains the value --max-nodes=70000000.

Anyhow, I try to fix the error now.

but most of the day it stayed at 700000 max nodes and refused to move
even though the this figure is the map id

If I got that right MapUploader generates a script called run.bat when you press the "SPLIT" button.

with the latest version of the splitter , it no longer splits in 3rd party software i have .

but when i go back to 476 , all is well

the 3rd party software i am useing is mapuloader from pinns.co.uk<http://pinns.co.uk><http://pinns.co.uk>
and australia -latest map file from download.geofabrik.de<http://download.geofabrik.de><http://download.geofabrik.de>

any ideas
