[mkgmap-dev] Should we have a ADVANCED_DEFAULT Style?

From Alexandre Loss alexandre.loss at gmail.com on Tue Mar 8 10:21:55 GMT 2016

I agree with Dave.
I think that not all customizations are interesting for everybody. However, should be a good idea keep advanced implementations and examples in a Wikipedia topic, for example. So, anyone can contribute with great ideas and share with the community.

For example, I have special POIs for milestones (common in Thailand), and assorted trees (trees common in Thailand) and style rules that test for them and place them on my maps. In addition, everything I'm developing is in a continual state of flux — I'm changing rules and icons all the time as my ideas about what's important (or fun) to map change.
