Meanwhile I found out that I have to disable the "Web Guard" from Avira 
Antivir in order to get a correct download. And this is not the only 
problem with Avira at the moment (waiting for seven weeks now for an 
update that fixes the bug which prevents VirtualBox VMs from starting 
correctly...).
