Ha! Yes as of about yesterday there are branch builds existing
in all formats.

  mkgmap-mergeroads-rXXXX.zip
  mkgmap-mergeroads-rXXXX.tar.gz
  mkgmap-mergeroads-rXXXX.jar
  mkgmap-mergeroads-rXXXX-src.zip
  mkgmap-mergeroads-rXXXX-src.tar.gz

They exist already if you just try to download them, although they
are not linked from the download page just yet.
