For what it is worth, there is also the through_route relation, which
was introduced about 2 years ago:

I am using adjust-turn-headings in my map. For bicycle navigation, it is
rather illogical. Sometimes I get a prompt in a T-crossing when leaving
a residential road (which makes a 90-degree turn) to a cycleway.
Sometimes, I do not get any prompt where I would expect it, if the
cycleways are forking at a small angle. I have not played with the
through_route relation.
