Steve, that would be very useful.

Only one thing:

Latest TOPO TYP files include POIs with  sizes 48x48 and in TRUE Color which
allows for much clearer and more colourful icons.I wonder if his code would
allow for this.

The text format for these POIs has as far as I know not been standardised
but I use the same as suggested by Michel Trey
