-ea is a java switch, not a mkgmap switch, so it should be invoked as  
written above.

Have a read of this: http://www.cferrero.net/maps/improve_OSM.html to  
learn more about logging.properties and using mkgmap to improve OSM  
data (including turn restrictions).
