[mkgmap-dev] The blue circle

Hi,
Sligthy offtopic:

On my ETREX there is a blue circle drawn on the map roundabout
the actual position. I always thought, that this indicates
the EPE (estimation of precision).

But I discovered, that the size of the circle is different
in some maps.

On the All-In-One Map it has a radius of 3 times of
the EPE value, but on the Topo-Map from geofabrik it is much bigger...

So, what is the secret with the circle?
