[mkgmap-dev] creating a fool-proof mapsource installer across different versions

Hi,

Somewhat off-topic with mkgmap but closely related, I have been
receiving numerous reports of mapsource install error of my OSM-PH
garmin maps
I create mapsource installer using winrar's sfx version, for details:

My mapsource version 6.11  and it installs OK.  Problems persist on
other versions like 6.13 and mostly 6.15.6.

Any advice in creating fool-proof install for MapSource?
