Street names and POIs are abbreviated.

The gmapsupp file is from the nod version generated using the following command:
java -Xmx512m -jar mkgmap.jar --latin1 --country-abbr=PHI
--country-name=PHILIPPINES --road-name-pois --route --gmapsupp
philippines.osm
