Hi Enrico,

I assume that your rules don't use the value of route_ref for the member of the rel.
My understanding of the rule in the default style is that it only changes ways when they have the role "passengers".

If that doesn't help please post a link to your style and the osm id of the way you're looking at.

Hi Gerd, I tried this code:

set route_ref='$(route_ref);${ref|not-contained:;:route_ref}' |
'$(route_ref)' | '${ref}';

without space but unfortunately the result is the same:

input    ->  ref                3   362    363

output  -> route_ref        3

why? I don't understand...
what can I do?
