Hi Nick,

I looked at this again. If I got that right the fact that we don't create a TYP file means that we only have very different
types which are displayed on the GPS. So, your modifications don't improve much on the GPS. Do you have other findings?

I fully agree with you :

The following are mere suggestions but taken from the mapnik.typ which takes
into account Garmin's reserved   type numbers  and seem  not clash with
known type numbers.

quarry : 0x12
power=station | power=sub_station:0x25
commercial: 0x26
construction:0x27
landfill : 0x2a
