[mkgmap-dev] MapSource installer improvements v5

Nakor,

thanks for providing this patch! I think it's worth to commit it.

There is one thing only I am not sure about. In case of an error you are 
using System.err.println. From my point of view the logging mechanism 
(log.error) should be used. What do you think?
